Kirpal Sagar, a project in the North of India is a spiritual place common to all, that invites to come together as brothers and sisters in God. In this interview, Dr Harbhajan Singh provides insights into its main facilities, which are destined to help people practically and to further a comprehensive human development. Colour, caste and creed play no role. In any field where help is needed, it is done in a spirit of sharing, not of giving alms. The heart of Kirpal Sagar is the Sarovar, a place of contemplation and meditation which radiates an atmosphere of peace and tolerance. The interview with Dr. Harbhajan Singh was recorded on 9th February 1994 in Kirpal Sagar, at the end of the World Conference on Unity of Man.

A question was once put to Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj, "Bodies of all men are made of the same mud (i. e. material flesh, blood, etc.) what superiority is attached to the personal body of a Sant which makes Him superior to any other man?" Hazur replied, "No doubt, all bodies are composed of mud, but the body of a Sant is made of the purest particles of it available in the universe. Every word, every look, every move, every touch, even the aura of a Sant is endowed with mercy, love, and grace of God. His society is specially electrified and the atmosphere charged. "The purer the heart of a man, the more he realizes and feels. Even those who listen to Him, accept and absorb what He says, are not left blank. They are benefited.

From 3 to 6 February 2024, Unity of Man commemorated its 50th anniversary on the occasion of founder Sant Kirpal Singh’s birthday at Kirpal Sagar. The anniversary celebrations started with traditional hymns (Shabads) and songs performed by the music teacher Akshey Kumar from the Kirpal Sagar Academy and others.
