Kirpal Sagar is located in the north of India, in a rural area of Punjab, far away from the noise and bustle of the cities. Its various facilities such as hospital, schools, retirement home, a library, and the Sarovar, are designed to support people in all aspects: physically, intellectually and spiritually. In this question-and-answer session, Sant Kirpal Singh explained, "Love is the attribute of the soul and is already deeply rooted in our soul – innate. It always longs for connection and is life-giving for man, as water gives life to the fish. Similarly, the souls that are filled with the love of God naturally delight in it, just as a fish delights in life-giving water. It is the water of life for the soul."
With beautiful pictures from Beaumont, taken during Sant Kirpal Singh's first world tour in 1955.

Dr. Harbhajan Singh was an outstanding personality who dedicated his whole life to fulfilling the mission of Sant Kirpal Singh. He firmly rejected any suggestion that he was the spiritual successor of Sant Kirpal Singh. Instead, he repeatedly pointed to the authority of Sant Kirpal Singh. In his lectures and conversations, he emphasized that everyone can receive a direct connection to this inner power, the God-power. Sant Kirpal Singh explained: "There are people with right understanding scattered all over the world. There will come a time when they will all come together."

A question was once put to Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj, "Bodies of all men are made of the same mud (i. e. material flesh, blood, etc.) what superiority is attached to the personal body of a Sant which makes Him superior to any other man?" Hazur replied, "No doubt, all bodies are composed of mud, but the body of a Sant is made of the purest particles of it available in the universe. Every word, every look, every move, every touch, even the aura of a Sant is endowed with mercy, love, and grace of God. His society is specially electrified and the atmosphere charged. "The purer the heart of a man, the more he realizes and feels. Even those who listen to Him, accept and absorb what He says, are not left blank. They are benefited.

From 3 to 6 February 2024, Unity of Man commemorated its 50th anniversary on the occasion of founder Sant Kirpal Singh’s birthday at Kirpal Sagar. The anniversary celebrations started with traditional hymns (Shabads) and songs performed by the music teacher Akshey Kumar from the Kirpal Sagar Academy and others.
Man is in the make and understanding is first learned at the level of the physical plane; by learning from word of mouth, seeing or going through the sayings of the teachers who understood. They gave out something to help others to come to that understanding. So these are helping factors.

Today we celebrate in loving memory Christ who took form in the (human) Pole Jesus. Thousands of other human beings are born every day in all countries, all cities, but hardly anyone remembers their birth or death. But with the masters who come from time to time, their birthdays and other life events are celebrated for the sole purpose of reviving the teachings they gave: To awaken humanity.

Reading Kabir’s poems, one feels an irresistible attraction. Inquiring who He was, one gets various answers. Around five hundred years ago Kabir, the simple weaver, fearlessly condemned the hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness of the religions in the particular, unmistakable language of His own. Ignoring caste-spirit and empty rituals and rites, He praised in His hymns God the Almighty. Everybody – whether Sikh or Hindu, Muslim or Christian – respects the “devotee” well-known everywhere in India.

"After Bhaji had gone into the lap of Master, He explained that the soul is like a bird, who like a guest goes into a beautiful garden every day. But when the message comes for the soul to go back, he has to leave this body. During the time, while we are enjoying this beautiful garden, something higher is given by Master. But only those can get it, who are awake; those who are sleeping cannot get these things. Those souls, who, with Master’s Grace, get what He is distributing inside, are enjoying this day and night." – Biji Surinder Kaur

THERE IS NO END TO HIS COMPETENCE AND THERE IS NO END TO OUR LEARNING What is our purpose? That every moment we should take one step forward. We should not come down, we should not come back. More you need help from Him, more help is there. Those who even hear about Him, they also get a protection from the Master side within and this protection is not limited, it can be unlimited. Because once the soul has some idea about the positive power – then within it has a free will to move either this side or that side.

ENGLISH Translation:
Liberation, contentment and a righteous way of life
come through selfless service to You.
You alone are the reason to serve You.
The true Guru is the supreme Lord;
He Himself is the Lord of creation.
Your servant begs for the dust of Your feet.
I surrender to the blessing of Your Darshan
O my supreme Lord,
as You hold me close to You, so I remain.
If it pleases You, I will sing Your name.
You alone can grant me peace.
That place is heaven, where the Kirtan, the praise of the Lord, is sung.
You Yourself embed faith in us.
I live through constant remembrance on Naam;
my mind and body are intoxicated.
I wash Thy lotus feet and drink this water,
O my true Guru, who is merciful to the humble.
I surrender myself to that blessed time
when I came to your door.
God has been merciful towards Nanak;
I have found the perfect, true Guru.

"A divine cause can flourish and fructify in abundance on a pure soil. We must all learn to look within and not without. It is far easier to see a mote in another's eye than to see a beam in one's own. We must try to inculcate the habit of self-introspection, so as to weed out all infirmities one by one."

Death Anniversary on 25 September "In this life, which has been given to me, along with all of you, we have a lot to do. We have to fulfil the wish of our Master up to the utmost. When I will leave the body, I want only to think of Master’s Mission even up to my last breath, and when Master comes to take my soul, my last thoughts should also be only for Master’s Mission."

DEATH ANNIVERSARY – 21 August 1974
Many Saints came to the world, but all were not born Saints. Some were developed here, some came as born Saints, Sant Kirpal Singh was a born Saint. Such Saints, whenever they come in the world, they bring a flood of spirituality. When He was asked, "Who is Your successor? Who will work after You?" Sant Kirpal Singh said in the very open Satsang, "You are all my Saints, you all can work.
For you, the Golden Age has come. Whenever the Almighty Power comes Himself, it is the Golden Age for the disciple to go back to eternal home."

Masters sometimes teach by parables and sometimes by direct talks. In a few words, you can digest all of that.
Now I will give you a parable that is in the Puranas of the Hindus.
Interview with Dr. Harbhajan Singh during the World Conference on Unity of Man, February 1994
Soul in its present state is gravely enmeshed by body and bodily attachments, which are more or less the reaction of past Karma, which it has been contracting all through up to the present incarnation. The present earth life is a passing phase in the long journey of the soul from the lower categories of creation on to the True Home of the Father. Physical body is material, but the soul is spiritual, but when reaction of karma occurs the man is bound to suffer pain and pleasure.
Now the sufferings demanding spiritual healing fall mainly in the domain of physical troubles, which may include even mental agonies such as nervous breakdown etc. These, being the reaction of past Karma, must demand adjustment and as such are to be borne by the victim.
The healer, whoever he may be, conducting this service takes the karma on his head, to be borne by him at a later stage. Besides, the bit of spiritual attainment he has attained in silencing his mind, is dissipated in such gestures of a miracle healing. Moreover, this process of healing is administered on weaker minds, which usually fall a prey to their sentiments. What can ordinarily be cured by undergoing a bit of suffering and medicine, is exchanged for spiritual dissipation, and the debt remains standing, awaiting adjustment at a later stage. Again, this sort of healing becomes professional and at times encourages corruption and misery. It not only invites mal-practices, but brings in more mental agony and wretchedness in multiplied form, added with interest. This is a causal postponement of payment for a future date, and adds strong fetters over the soul. – Sant Kirpal Singh

Only few people meditate out of yearning and love for God.

The natural Yoga, called SURAT SHABD YOGA, is the direct way back to God. If you just catch the ray of the sun, that will take you – where? To the sun from which it emanates.
So in the Surat Shabd Yoga you have to catch the God-into-expression-Power, which has two phases: Light and Sound. It is the highest form of Yoga. This Yoga covers all these problems which other Yogas have. This is the most natural and easiest of all Yogas, which can be exercised by the old, the young and everybody.

Biography: Baba Sawan Singh - His Life and His Mission
The days between 10 and 19 March were marked by happiness and by pain. Even though love wants to ignore that nothing in this world is permanent, there is no exception to the rule. On 10 March, Biji Surinder Kaur's birthday was celebrated, and a few days later, on 19 March, she returned to her eternal home.
Personalities like Biji, as she was called by everyone, had something to give to humanity that was not imperishable. Self-realisation in the spiritual sense was the strength that Biji radiated and through which she won the love and respect of all.
In this video one can see an area of the Amritsar Centre that existed in the time of Sant Kirpal Singh. Dr. Harbhajan Singh, called Bhaji, and his wife Biji Surinder Kaur, residing in Nag Kalan near Amritsar, worked at the Amritsar Centre from the very beginning.
On 6 March 2016, Biji visited the Amritsar Centre for the last time and gave her love and support to all.
A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR SANT KIRPAL SINGH had been arranged by His disciples for 25 January 1964 in Washington, D.C., as He would be returning from His second world tour to India shortly.
"God is love, the Master is Love Personified. When one soul comes in contact with His overflowing love, we are saturated with His love through and through, which washes away all dirt of sins of the past and merges us in oneness with the Father." − Sant Kirpal Singh
Our thanks to Ruhani Satsang USA for the video footage − scenes from His stay in Europe (Austria, Germany and America).
Man's highest aim is to know God, and we should eliminate whatever retarding factors there are. Whatever are helping factors, we should adopt in our lives.
Who is affected by passions cannot obtain liberation.
All Masters, whether they came in one religion or the other, have been very particular about this point. What are we doing? These things are given great stress, but we people don't care. That's the pity. Buddha says, "I proclaim the annihilation of lust. I teach the doing away with lust. Nirvana means the subsiding of all human passions. When inner fires of lust are extinguished, then one enters into the Nirvana. This is the lesson of lessons." … This is the most important thing and the most ignored.
Our attention, which is the expression of our soul, is diffused into the world through the outgoing faculties and is identified with them, so much so that we have forgotten ourselves.
As I told you, it is the soul alone that can know God. Like knows the like. Soul is a conscious entity; God is all consciousness. So the first thing is that we should know ourselves. All Masters, whenever they came, they gave out the same thing: Know thyself.
How can we know ourselves? By liberating ourselves from the clutches of mind and the outgoing faculties; or, you might say, by analysing ourselves from mind and matter; or, still further, you might say, by rising above body-consciousness. When you know yourself, you will see that that very God whom you find within is already there.
QUESTIONS and ANSWERS with Sant Kirpal Singh
My point is that so long as the spirit does not rise above body-consciousness, we remain a stranger to the spiritual world beyond. The real thing is to know one-self, to know the spirit in you. We are spirits in God. - Sant Kirpal Singh
With the words of Sant Kirpal Singh, we wish you a peaceful and blessed New Year 2022!
"There is a language spoken in the home of our Father; that language is love. Speak in love, take everything in love, weed out everything in love. That is the way back to God."

Bringing a project into existence and making it successful depends largely on the people who are committed to it. Dr Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Biji Surinder Kaur are a remarkable example of this.
In this video you can see scenes during the construction of the Hall for Satsangs and Conferences - called "Kirpal Bhawan" - in 1993. The hall was built within only 29 days, thanks to the full attention of Dr. Harbhajan Singh and his wife Surinder Kaur and the support of many workers.
The "KIRPAL BHAWAN" was opened on the occasion of the "World Conference on Unity of Man" in 1994. Since then, all festivals or "Bhandaras" are held there.

The motto of Sant Kirpal Singh is very simple to understand: 'BE GOOD – DO GOOD and BE ONE'.
Kirpal Sagar is a man-making and man-service centre, since the purpose of an awakened one is to develop the man from inside and outside.
Kirpal Sagar, located in India/Punjab. This place is a common ground for all people to get together, irrespective of caste, colour, creed, religion or country. It belongs to all human beings of the world.
The heart of Kirpal Sagar is the Sarovar, where four symbols of different religions – a gurdawara, a temple, a church, and a mosque – exists which fulfil the basic necessity for a true person to understand that God made man and man made religion. True religion tells that all human beings have the privilege to get together under one canopy to remember God and to meditate on Him. – Dr. Harbhajan Singh

Mind is an important term in spirituality, but our concept of it differs a lot from that in the East. There, mind is considered to be material, not conscious, whereas in the West, it is conceived of as conscious.
