GREEN SOURCE OF ENERGY
KIRPAL SAGAR ACADEMY has solar power plant with 700 KW generating capacity. It represents a clean green source of energy. Solar is a great way of producing power to reduce carbon footprints. There is nothing about solar power that pollutes Mother Nature.
WATER CONSERVATION
Academy has its own set up of an effluent treatment plant in which waste water from the Academy, hostels, mess and staff quarters gets treated. This System eliminates harmful bacteria and filters before waste water enters the ground and plants.
ORGANIC FARMS
KSA has its own organic farms and most of the vegetables spices, rice, wheat and fruits come from these farms. Organic foods are good for health because they are free from toxic chemicals. Academy provides opportunity to its students to visit these organic farms and teaches them how to create a garden and how to best maintain, what they have planted.
CREATING POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE OF LEARNING
Eco clubs are have been made to encourage interest and involvement and are very rewarding especially when Children are given responsibility to take their own decisions about the changes they want to see and provided opportunities to improve their own school environment.
